Barnet “Barry” Resnick is the founding partner of the law firm of Vogt, Resnick & Sherak. For more than 40 years, he has represented clients before judicial, administrative, and regulatory bodies at the local, state and federal levels.
Barry received his PH.B degree from Degree from DePaul University and his Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law, where he served as the editor of the Law Review.
As a former Trustee of California’s second largest Community College District, Barry represented 700,000 people, and was responsible for a $100 million budget and 3,100 employees. He has taught at California State University Long Beach, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and in UC Irvine’s Certified Financial Planning Certificate Program. In addition, he served on the board of Vocational Visions, California Elwyn, and is currently on the board of the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute.
Barry is widely recognized as a distinguished and influential member of the legal community, and is an active teacher, lecturer, legal writer, and organizer for public service and charitable work.
